There were 1,500 taverns in Madrid in 1900 for a population of 840,000 inhabitants. Only in this Tetuan Street, next to Casa Labra were 3 taverns. Madrid has rewarded us and history is watching us. Today we are a dozen just to bear witness to a culture and traditional lifestyle of the Town and Court, and constitute a large portion of the hallmarks of this charming city that is the Madrid of the Spanish. Welcome to Casa Labra We are at Calle Tetuan 12, close to El Corte Ingles Store located in Sol.
Casa Labra is a centenary Tavern that over generations has been offering something very unique and typical from Madrid.
Cod an cod croquettes are our spaciality delighted in an environment that has remained almost untouched since 19th century.
With the time we wanted to approach to modern cuisine offering in our restaurant an interesting menu in which stands out classic recipes of Cod mixed together with some others of all sort. Meat dishes and a selection of wines carefully made will be also available in our menus
