There were 1,500 taverns in Madrid in 1900 for a population of 840,000 inhabitants. Only in this Tetuan Street, next to Casa Labra were 3 taverns. Madrid has rewarded us and history is watching us. Today we are a dozen just to bear witness to a culture and traditional lifestyle of the Town and Court, and constitute a large portion of the hallmarks of this charming city that is the Madrid of the Spanish. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Welcome to our centenary and a half. Teresa Hernández | Casa Labra from 1860 |
